New precinct lines have been drawn in the City of Bloomington.  During the summer of 2009, all registered voters in Bloomington will receive new voter registration cards with information on their new precincts.  The cards will be sent in the months of June through August in several mailings.  Please look at your new card carefully.  Old voter cards may be discarded when you receive a new one.  If you do not receive your new voter card by the end of September, please call the office at 309-888-5136 to check your current voter status.  
 
Next election will be the General Primary, February 2, 2010.

Election Results - Official

 

Elections in Bloomington, Illinois, are administered by and under the jurisdiction of the Board of Election Commissioners in conjunction with local and state election authorities.

Aderian L. McPherren, Chairman Esaw Peterson, Vice Chairman John (Jack) Reidy, Secretary

The Board consists of three members appointed by James A. Souk, Judge of the Circuit Court, for three-year alternating terms. The Board meets at 10:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the offices of the Commission.

 

The daily administration is under the direction of Executive Director Paul Shannon (far right) and his staff.
